What a great home project! Besides eating our mushrooms we also get to request a donation to a school of our choice. This is a great gift idea and offers a great learning experience for little ones. Can't wait to start my second crop!
I had a bit of trouble getting the mushrooms to start but the website was so helpful I was able to start over and had a beautiful little crop.
Awesome mushroom kit. My kids just loved watching them grow. Made a great stir fry with the first batch.
Well first of all I want to say how happy I am with the mushroom kit that I received. Its growing and growing I am super excited to make the tacos and keep them growing. The staff and the customer service is amazing and I am really impressed with how fast the service was and how kind they were. All in all great products and great people. These guys have given people a terrific way to remind us all where our food comes from. They are giving us fresh, healthy food in fun, easy ways. Their cans or jars of to-grow plants are fantastic gifts as are the mushroom boxes. Indeed, this gets people who don't grow up on farms back into touch with our roots. Good job, guys!! (Oh, and I have met them too. They really are nice guys and that they love what they are doing shines through.)
My mushrooms grew really fast and yielded way more than expected. I kept them in the middle of my room with constant 68° and ambient light, they are HAPPY and so am I :)
We loved this! My daughters, aged 3 and 5, both enjoyed growing our mushrooms. The directions were straight forward and the mushrooms grew quickly. We loved checking it every day!
