Nice store, been awhile since I was there. Staff very friendly, informative, and helpful. Wide variety of hats, boots, and western wear. I will be back, especially since Becky is special ordering a shirt I wanted that they had...just not there in my size.
5 Stars!!!! My husband and I went there to look for new pair of boots. The staff was great, we were greeted at the door, they let us look for a lil bit before asking if we need anything which is nice bc you dont feel so bomb barted! A young gentleman helped us with my husbands pair, he was full of knowledge about the boots type, how they wear and even stretched the boot for us!!! Back to Basics has always been my “go to” place to buy new boots, and after my experience today, I am highly disappointed and will NOT be going back. The employees made me feel like a complete annoyance the second I walked through the door. I waited for 20 minutes for any assistance, and when I asked him to look up a pair of boots and order them in for me, that was just another annoyance. My husband and I were in over the weekend. Prior to then, I had never heard of Back to Basics. I had just googled "western stores within 60 miles" of my home and it popped up. My husband was itching for a new pair of boots since mine had just came in the mail from Sheplers. He likes to see things in person before buying; me, I like any kind of shopping. LOL. I bought a pair of Double H brand boots a few months back and I love them. I wear them daily and are very comfortable once broken in. The employees are knowledgeable and were extremely helpful every step of the way. I went back today to buy a hat for a wedding and received the same great service. Always top notch customer service! Great place...it’s like our own local version of Boot Barn only better and its run and operated independently! Not a national chain. Highly recommend to any western rider or “wanna be” cowboy/girl.
