Cute little place. Great staff. Amazing food
My shrimp for a little overdone. The staff seem to be a little overworked even though it was not a busy night. The restaurant was hot even though they had a fan going it was just too hot. And there was the smoke from the grill permeating into the dining area
Backstreet Cafe has an awesome waiter, Patric! My sister let him know the day before my birthday that we were coming for lunch. He had made a bithday candy jar and balloons for me. It was a wonderful surprise. The food, of course was absolutely delicious! It always is! There was a cupcakes and a Birthday song!
Chicken salad was dry. Not very friendly. I'm from out of town and I got felt unwelcome. I wonder if they gave me 'yesterday's' chicken salad???
7/18/2025 wife an I went in for 1st time! I got there 9oz rybeye special. Wife chose fried porkchops! We both cleared our plates an I never clear my plate.. never.. while dinning we spoke with a couple there! Lady said its there favorite place an they drive from Mullins to eat there an they've had nothing on the menu as of yet that wasn't good. Again, the food wife ate and my plate was great!!
