Excellent – After a long-simmering back issue hit a critical point, I was referred site unseen to Back in the Game because they're close to where I work, take my insurance and are highly rated here on City Search and other places. I'm SO glad I went, because the owner Monica has done amazing work with me. I've been going twice a week for a few months and my back is now BETTER than it ever has been. The therapy started off incredibly well when Monica did a basic assessment of my back and just from touch was able to point out ... read more

Relief after 20 years with Spasmodic Torticollis – I have had Spasmodic Torticollis for 20 years and have been to many practitioners, including Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Medical Doctors, Massage Therapists etc, etc. I have been receiving treatment from Monica for 6 weeks now and have experienced the most amazing results since the first treatment. Walking had become very difficult for me since my head was pulling quite strongly to the left and down. Monica's therapy and exercise program have stretche... read more

Forever Indebted – Saying Monica Joshi saved my life is not an exaggeration. I had seen seven physical therapists before her with no relief at all. My life changed the day I walked into Back In The Game. I had terrible pain and weakness before I met Monica, but she gave me a new lease on life, healing me more effectively than any doctor I'd met or injection I had. I've never met someone who understands the human body better than her and how to heal it. I've recommended her to my friends and family who saw dramatic results fr... read more

A crook – There was a time this was a good PT. Not sure what happened but these days the service is impersonal, inconsiatent and unethical. The last straw was when they charged my credit card without authorization.

A Miracle Worker – A sports injury in 1988 left me in pain from the bottom of my left heel to the top of my left neck. The site of the injury was the left sacroiliac joint. I worked with many excellent health care practitioners over the years, chiropractors, physicians of various types, acupuncturists, cranial sacral therapists, and physical therapists. Almost all were tops in their field. Most helped me. By 2002 I no longer needed Rx meds for the pain, which I had needed, on and off. In 2002-2003 I had to have multiple abdo... read more

The best in the game – Three years ago, I got a severe herniated disk from child delivery. I had a lot of challenges with my back even after a successful surgery. I have been through a number of therapists for help both before and after the surgery, but the results were minimal if any. I heard about Monica and Back in the Game from a friend and wasted no time before coming to check it out myself. Monica is simply the best in the game! She diagnosed my problems (mainly weakness with my back and core) and designed an exercise ... read more

Just fabulous! – I ruptured the L5-S1 disc 10 years ago. Neither back operations nor epidural injections provided lasting relief - but Monica Joshi's hands on technique has. My wife and I recently spent two weeks in Europe. We walked and toured museums. We boarded planes and trains with heavy bags. Before becoming one of Monica's patients I would have been in pain less than half way into the trip and would have returned in need of another epidural. But by following Monica's daily stretching regimen the trip was a pleasure an... read more

Hands on treatment – I've had low back pain and issues (combinations of slight disc herniation and bulgings, stenosis and arthritis) for the past ten years. I've cycled between manageable and debilitating pain. I was treated by Monica Joshi for about 8 weeks and was very pleased with the results. With her guidance, exercises and treatment, my back has improved tremendously. What is most valuable to me is understanding what may be causing my pain. Monica helped me understand that and taught me what I can do to maintain my bac... read more

Great Results – I highly recommend Monica Joshi. From the first visit, she gave me incredible attention and lots of information, and conducted each session efficiently and with caring. I have an old L5 disk herniation but back issues resurfaced recently and another MRI revealed herniations also in L3 and L4. She always patiently worked with me to alleviate the discomfort. Through her in-office treatments and her exercises that I still do consistently, I'm now pain-free. Having experienced other PT treatments, I can truly say... read more
