We had an excellent dinner last night to celebrate Father's Day. We had vegetarians and non-vegetarians and we all loved it (there were 10 of us)!!

The Back Forty is our go to restaurant. They are know for the BBQ but the salads and other entrées are great. Service is always exceptional and they are quick insure your meal is as ordered. It does get busy, so plan ahead, go early on Friday and Saturday evenings. Last Saturday we took a party of 8 to dinner and to hear the “Lumberyard” band. What a great time, great band and services. Steve the manager is just the best.. all the folks are actually. Go to The Back Forty you’ll be glad you did.
Sunday afternoon, we had a party of 10, food good service good, we had one complaint, there was a lady there with 3 dogs all poodles with regular pink collars, no service dogs, they barked the whole time, complained to manager, he said they were service dogs, he only responded when one of the dogs almost bite their server and ask her to leave which she was reluctant to do, I’m upset they let dogs in a restaurant where I have to eat, I’m highly allergic to pet hair, please keep your dogs at home, they shouldn’t be allowed in ... read more
