I came to Laura at Back Bay Health feeling disconnected between my mind and body as I began training for the London Marathon. Working with Dr. Latham to remain active during pregnancy was awesome! We were able to maintain virtual appointments, which helped with the distance. With her help I felt confident to keep my usual workout schedule. She also taught me so much more about my body and what I’m capable of in the process. Laura and the team at Back Bay Health have helped me recover from a variety of injuries and given me clear and motivating plans to get me back to running. It's thanks to them I went from not running to completing many races from 5ks to marathons, injury free and most of all confident and happy. They are the BEST!!!
As an avid runner, I struggle with minor injuries pretty often, which becomes frustrating when it impedes training. I knew something was missing, and I’m learning true strength training is the key. After just a few sessions with Tim, I feel stronger, my hamstring issue I presented with is subsiding, and I’ve gained knowledge in how to keep up with such training on my own.
