So this is what a macbook retina display looks like with the screen taken off. Good thing this was practice. You need to heat and pry the retina lcd screen WITHOUT damaging the sheets hidden behind the screen otherwise you will see some blemishes and other marks with the new lcd screen put on. After I examined this display more closely, I've noticed some small scratch marks on the sheet. As of right now this macbook display is completely useless.
