Kalan is an absolute gem. Was so happy with my cut and blow dry. Actually followed Kalan when she left her last salon. She is my stylist forever.
I had a really poor experience with Kalan. On my second appointment with her I booked in for a full blonding (balayage) and the result was a strange combination of blonde tones, the front being platinum blonde almost silver and the mid sections were so warm, they were verging on orange. I pointed it out at the end of my appointment but noticed it was even worse when I got home so I contacted Kalan and asked back it be fixed so the colour was the same throughout. The best hair experience I’ve ever had. Back bar is the definition of “elevated service”. She is both a hair wizard and a therapist. Also her head massages are PHENOMENAL. I will never take my business elsewhere after going to back bar. Kalan is exceptional at what she does and realistic in her explanations/suggestions. She is the reason I’ve achieved my hair goals! Thank you Kalan !!
I am so so so happy I found Back Bar Hair Lounge!! She is so lovely and my hair is always looking perfect when I leave. The Prosecco during the appointment definitely doesn’t hurt! The space is so bright and styled so nicely.
