I got a Groupon for a couples massage, booked an appointment for 1pm which was confirmed, and arrived to see it was closed. I called twice to no answer. The place also looked nothing like the photos listed on Groupon, and I think the Groupon reviews are fake since the Google and Yelp reviews are obviously very different than the favorable 4 stars on Groupon. I was only able to get a groupon bucks refund, which sucks - I should have done better research, but obviously please dont book here!
Couldn't get straight answers from them about Ulthera and am doubting they have the proper equipment. Found them on Groupon and text with them. I've had it before and there is no way the cost matches so it can't be. They danced around my asking how many pulses and said it depends on my skin thickness and when I wanted to book. I asked them what machine and they wouldn't answer.. Then they didn't reply at all. Not Booking.

I’m frustrated with this experience. We arrived on time, Terra got there after our appointments were scheduled to start, with the front door still locked. We didn’t begin until ~30 minutes late. This was the worst massage experience I’ve ever had. The appointment started 30 minutes late even though we arrived on time. The “massage therapist” (a man wearing a beanie) tried to sell me CBD shea butter in the middle of my massage. He also tried to sell me a massage at his private practice in El Cerrito, again in the middle of my massage.
