I attended their recent program of French music and was blown away by the excellence of this ensemble. It was a highlight of our trip to San Diego. I love a period ensemble, and I was delighted to see/hear a theorbo among them. The tuning was excellent, including the recorders (no small feat, in my opinion). Due to the structure of the program, the vocalists were expected to make frequent stylistic pivots, which they did so well that it seemed effortless. If you have an opportunity to hear this group, do.
