My husband and I have ordered takeout from this baby blue location for years now. We ordered again tonight and our order was inedible. Our sushi was as if it was prepared hours ago, all the tempura on our rolls was soft and soggy-as if it was sitting for quite some time before we tried it when in all reality it was in the car for ten minutes. Wasabi was dark green and runny. It looked old and gross! This was a hyvee quality, and that’s depressing.
I took my girlfriend on a date to think location for happy hour last sunday and it was the best experience weve had at a blue sushi yet. The hostess was polite and fast, it was crazy busy but the whole staff was on point, food came out in a great timely manner, and the manager Nick Dargy was on top of everything, all over the place making sure everyone was enjoying the experience. Amazing!! I came here because I know they are great with food allergies. Nick the manager could not have been more accommodating for a soy and dairy allergy (breastfeeding mom here!). The food was delicious and it made our night perfect. Thank you!!!
We tried their Lion King roll for the first time... we ended up ordering a second because it was soooooo good!
