the best menu in the Hamptons – Babette's is the only Hampton's restaurant that has a wide selection of vegetarian dishes as well as organic beef and free range chicken. the restaurant is already pretty well known for their brunch but the dinner menu is terrific...especially the Scallops and the Chicken....also, from time to time they have grass fed steaks on the menu as well Great martinis...the wine list could be better....but the restaurant is a clear winner....
So Little...For So Much – While on vacation in the area during Christmas week, we decided to take an evening stroll. But when the thunderstorm began, we quickly ran into Babette's. I sought out this restaurant because I found it on glutenfreeonthego.com, which lists gluten-free restaurants, of course. It is as gluten-free as the nearest diner. I ordered a mushroom omlette, which was good, but $16.95 for an omlette containing one vegetable and some spices is just crazy. Besides, being gluten intolerant, I could not eat the bagel or toast that came with it.
