The food was fine! But we just did not feel welcome here...maybe because we have kids or were not dressed up fancy enough for this place? Our kids were perfectly behaved although they looked a little rough around the edges because they spent the day at the children's museum! (some people with kids do like to go to nicer restaurants too right?) When we walked in the hostesses told us that the only seating for 5 would be at the bar. We did not want to find another place so we said okay. We sat down at the bar and later noticed... read more

Been eating at Babbo weekly. Loved the preparation, service, value. On this last visit we found prices creeping higher to the point of little value. We use to enjoy sharing a quartino of wine with lunch. Gone the quartinos, in "by the glass" at same price but less serving. I prefer to pour from the quartino into a glass then having a glass filled to capacity. That's not how we drink wine. The food is still good. Very very good if you like soggy pizza and slow service, bad if you like nice crusts and attentive wait staff. When we were first seated, a server came by and threw bread wrapped in parchment paper onto our table-\-\ just a quick toss, and a plate of plain olive oil, no "here's some bread for the table." The bread was cold, chewy and, while not bad bread, its presentation was lacking given the fact that we were the only party in the restaurant at the time. Then, it took us several minutes to get to order, as our waitress was... read more

Me and my boyfriend went here last night. We heard great things so we decided to try it out. We were very disappointed and could have went somewhere else for much cheaper. The waiter took our order and then gave us our bill. Did not check in on us once. The bust boy did everything. The calamari had no sauce, bread was cold and hard. No Parmesan on the oil. The hostess had to bring us our drinks and the pizza is something we could have made on our own. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
