Best Sushi in Town – I love Basho. As a person who lived in Japan I can confirm that this is about as close to the real thing as you're going to get here in Columbus. I guess it's the tight seating arrangement and the hackneyed japanese decor that makes me feel like I'm back in Osaka. In any case, the sushi is delicious - especially the unagi, spicy tuna rolls and the baked samon specialty rolls. Not Consistent – One day I had aweful sushi at Basho...Put aside taste of sushi, it didn't look like sushi. It was just a piece of raw fish and smashed rice ball... The other day, I had great assorted sashimi. It was great that only great cheff can pick such a fresh assortment.
