Don’t even bother with this doc that don’t care. Cancelled my appointment in Huntsville after I driven 45 min! He said I needed to go to the Cullman location. I explained that I needed help today, which is why I booked the appointment in Huntsville since I could get in quicker. The Cullman location can’t get me in for another month! Nurse called back and he cancelled me anyway…I’ll find another doctor that’s willing to help me with insomnia.
My mother recently had an appointment with Dr. Tafazoli and we were incredibly disappointed with the experience. The doctor spent very little time actually addressing her reason for being there and rushed through the appointment. Furthermore, he was highly unprofessional, veering completely out of his lane to discuss topics that had absolutely nothing to do with her medical care or the reason for her visit. My first visit with Dr. Tafazoli went very well. He is thorough and explained that my CPAP could not control my sleep issues. He advised me on the importance on a sleep study and meeting again afterwards for new decisions. He is an excellent doctor.
Dr. Tafazoli *can* get you in-and-out quickly *if* that's what you want, but he will also discuss the what and why of everything *and* do so as if you are a human being with emotions and a brain in their skull, not at all talking down to you. He may have a strikingly casual bedside manner, but that may have been because I was younger when I first started seeing him. My doctor is one of the best in Huntsville. He is upbeat, kind, and caring. Most of all, he listens to the needs of his patients. He has a wonderful personality and a determination to fix my health needs. The staff is great, and the wait time is average.
