Just had (6/24/21) some work done a lawn mower, recoil cord broken plus a couple of other things. He fixed what I asked for plus a couple of other things that were needed - spark plug, filter. Total cost $67.00. Would I go there again? Absolutely!! Would I recommend him to a friend? Absolutely! If you have a complaint talk to him and BE reasonable. This is his business not a hobby. PM
My experience matches "bummer1" - back in 2011 he charged a $50.00 per hour labor rate while today its $65.00, so yes he's expensive. But one reason for that is he fixes anything he wants as shops did back in the 1950s where you padded the bill by "fixing" and then say it was needed. You literally have to tell him to fix items related directly to the problem ONLY. This guy is a rip off! $50 an hour. Charged me more than my lawn mower was worth. Way too expensive and will not tell you the charges before he bills than holds the equip. hostage.
Honest quality. Repairs by someone who knows what they are doing. Can diagnose a problem and fix it instead of throwing parts at it until it works. Solid ,honest repairs at a reasonable price.
