I stayed because my car broke down, I went online said free. Then didn't. Went back and suddenly it is free. 14 days max for camping. The lake is wonderful. Wish they cleaned and landscaped better.
This free campsite is decent. Even though it is alongside the road the noise level was very tolerable. The outhouses were clean and well stocked with toilet paper. There are two water pumps and the Cayoosh Creek runs alongside. It’s small but the spaces are a decent size. I would stay again.

Free site, $10 fire wood, clean, quiet and peacefully. Beautiful views of the mountains good for spotting Big Horn Sheep and Bears.
