I rented a property managed by B.C. Artman with Phillip as the property manager and experienced serious habitability issues due to a severe mouse infestation. The only “solution” provided was placing traps and poison, which led to mice dying in the walls and a persistent, horrible odor throughout the house. I reported this problem multiple times and requested real remediation or a transfer to a different unit because of the health concerns and unlivable conditions, but nothing meaningful was done beyond adding more poison. Poor communication, project management, and responsiveness. They managed the property rental I stayed in. They did not prioritize necessary maintenance, and repairs with any real sense of urgency (e.g., damaged roof/ceiling, ensuing water damage to the plaster, and falling tile). ***Edit for clarification*** B.C. Artman is not the current property manager for the apartment I mentioned. B.C. Artman did an absolutely incredible job on our home remodel. It wasn’t just the new floors — the bathrooms, painting, light fixtures, and so much more were transformed with true craftsmanship and care.
