I'm from California and I'm in town visiting some of my close friends. I wanted to buy some nice steaks from an old time butcher shop to share for this special occasion. I went online and found B&B and I felt that it was exactly what I was was looking for. The butcher, John, was very helpful and cut me some beautiful center cut tenderloin steaks. Best butcher shop in Iowa! Their deli is unmatched in Des Moines!
Had the opportunity to go here today. Man is the staff kind. Not only did I get the best meat in DSM, but these guys have some of the best customer service in the city! I learned more in the hour I was there about cuts than I have with hours of research on the internet. Simply they know their craft and they are the best at it. Just went in to B and B for the first time. I can say I'll be back for sure. Very friendly and knowledgeable butchers! They made for a great experience.
Whenever I’m in town I make it a point to stop in for Killer Sandwiches and to load up on steaks. Great people, service and products.
I don't do reviews, BUT John and Chris and Joe are awesome guys! Dad's killer sandwich is insanely good! If i could just hang out there all day, I would. Top notch meat counter too. Support this business!!!
