Came out for the first time with my son tonight, I wasn’t really sure what to expect but Penelope and Connor took care of us and she convinced me the meatloaf was amazing even though she hates mushrooms the gravy was “to die for” so I gave it a try. It was better than the meatloaf mom used to make that’s for sure. Drinks and food came out pretty fast. Staff is very welcoming and the piano music was a nice touch. I will definitely be back soon.
This is an interesting place which, in my mind, doesn't quite know what it wants to be. There is a lively bar separated by a partition from what tries to be an upscale steakhouse. So you get a nice vibe in the restaurant combined with a fairly noisy din from the bar, including too-loud country music. As for the food, I ordered a really nice rib eye... great cut of meat with just the right marbling. This restaurant is called a 'chophouse' because it definitely is NOT a nice 'steakhouse'. The ambiance was pretty good with live music. However, the atmosphere was TERRIBLE. The tables had these super cheap looking dividers. We had a reservation at 645, walked in and had to stand there for a few minutes for someone (not a big deal but not off to the best start when we got there). I have no idea how this place has 4 point something stars on google. Service was absolutely terrible. Tables are seperated by cheap foldable partitions you'd see in an economical Chinese restaurant. Service is God awful and SLOW. We had reservations, my fiancee and I. We sat down at 6:45 and didn't leave until a 8:30! The food is priced like a nice steak house but it's cooked terribly.
