Every year my sister, cousin and I do a Cousins Weekend getaway. This was our first time visiting Freeport. Everything was wonderful but the most perfect part of the entire weekend was our dinner at Azure Cafe. There are so many dining options on Main Street/Downtown but we were hoping for something Italian (our favorite kind of food) and Azure was at the top of our list. We just had the best time at your restaurant. Thank you for letting us have the fish & chips for dinner. FINALLY! A Maine experience! Pure perfection!
It was Valentines Day and FREEZING cold, which had a lot to do with being uncomfortable, but it was way too cold upstairs to enjoy my dinner. Also, being one of my very favorite restaurants in Maine, that evening my husband and I were both disappointed with the service and the food. They were closing the next day for a month, and it truly seemed like no one cared about anything except getting out of there! That goes for the chef and kitchen employees and the wait staff. Very disappointed and dissatisfied for the first time.
Loved this place the food was very good and the wait staff was great and loved eating out on the patio.
