Firstly, on a stand-alone basis, this is by far the very best traditionally prepared Japanese sushi outside of Manhattan. The Omakase (chef’s choice, sushi bar seating) is out of this world delicious. What really puts Azuma head and shoulders above the rest however is the price. I ate here for the first time and this was seriously the most competitive in taste. There are many sushi places in the area but the quality is off the charts. I've eaten at many zagat rated resturants and this is worth coming to and trying the Omakase

Azuma is a traditional sushi restaurant. Period. Expect the highest quality fish, properly served on perfectly prepared rice (which is what sushi is all about anyway). The pieces are the right size (americans who are used to Chinese owned sushi restaurants will say they're small). If you want an authentic sushi experience in the westchester area, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for an all you can eat buffet, go elsewhere.
