Azuma on the Lake serves great Japanese food. The sushi here is excellent, with some really innovative rolls. But the food is not the only reason why you should be dining here. The restaurant is located by the river and offers a gorgeous view. The Calamari, Ebi Tempura and the Smoked Salmon/kunsei Sake go perfectly well with that beautiful view!

Try their omakasei, last time my waiter recommend it. It was awesome!!!!
Johnson roll is amazing, and the staff was awesome.
I was duped. – I though this would be as good as the other Azuma. Bad service. Horrid food. They won't last long unless they make some huge changes.
Kurt says the Pepper A-Lo-Ha is my favorite if yo like Yellowtail rolls!
To bad they don't have the hot rock beef like the one in The Village. The Toro was pretty bad.

We heard Azuma just opened and decided to try it during their soft opening. We were greeted and sat a table in their captivating dining room with elaborate lighting and expensive decor. Our server VICTOR was obviously a newbie who did not seem to grasp the basics of serving 101. He was odd and times and neglected us for the most part.
