After ordering paella in Spain where you can get twice the amount of food for about half the price at Azuca, it's a bit of an unfair comparison. But we had a good time.
Food was great music was good waitress were awesome only problem was when waitresses ended there shift no one came around to pick our empty glasses we must of had about 20 empty glasses on a small table until I finally called someone to pick them up and even then they picked up a few of them then never came back till closing time.
Even though they had to move to a smaller venue next door to the original place, the quality and service is still excellent! Come early for the great cuisine , delicious drinks and romantic atmosphere and stay late for the great Salsa music and dancing every Friday and Saturday nights! Buen Provecho!
Band was good but only played like 3 songs and they didn't have the mix ready to cover when they went on break. The drinks were good but the service is bad. They need to address how to keep the drinks flowing. No customer should have to wait 15 to 20 mins for a drink. I witness 8-10 people leave because they couldn't get a drink in a timely manner. The place could be very nice if these issues were addressed.
Not only excellent food but excellent service. Fun atmosphere! Suggest everyone to go here!
We used Azuca to cater two entrepreneurship programs we hosted in San Antonio and loved it. They were always on time and food was excellent.
Set up a reservation and when we arrived they had no tables for us inside. Sat us outside alone in the cold. When I objected and said that I had made a reservation for a special occasion, she basically said everyone else did as well.... It was for a birthday and we were 4 people so when I called for a reservation they said they usually do something special. Great atmosphere. Discovered this place just looking for something close to our hotel ,and it didn't not disappoint. The waitstaff is very friends. The restaurant is clean and fun for the eyes. The food was amazing.
