Dr Durfey is the best!!! I have been going there for about 20 years (admittedly not nearly as often as I should). He is a great Dentist and a great man. Happy to continue making the trip from Farmington for the great care. I have only ever experienced very minimal discomfort there, nearly pain free. Staff are good too. Highly recommend!!!
By the time you reach 60, you have met a few hygienists and doctors, and you realize they are people too — some excellent, some… meh, not so much. I switched to Aztec Family Dental Care over a year ago, and I can unequivocally recommend the practice and the people who work there. Dr. James Durfey, Myra, and Lindsey have all been professional, kind, competent, and easy to trust. I’m very glad I made the switch.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! I cannot say this enough! I brought my 13 year old daughter into this office to get fillings done 6 months ago and was charged an arm and a leg out the door after insurance. WAY more than any other dentist I have ever visited for routine fillings. I thought I was getting top notch dental care for my kid, as she already suffers genetically from having gingivitis. I wasn't going to leave a review because I'm usually not that person. But after spending an hour in a dentist chair with very littlec suction struggling and swallowing water just to have the Dentist jump back and say, don't spit on me. I showed up at my appointment, very distressed and upset. My hygienist, Lindsay put me at ease and was very gentle and kind with me. I walked out feeling a heck of a lot better than I did when I first went in. Thank you so much, Aztec family Dental!
