I saw her when I was admitted for major depression. Her demeanor was very cold and uncaring. She even took a phone call on her cell phone while I was in a session with her! I spoke to other patients/staff whom have similar issues with her as well. I was so happy when I was able to switch to the VA for a new doctor. My new doctor is amazing.
I switched doctors a couple years ago and just wrote a great review for my new doctor, afterwards I saw a profile for Dr. Pappa and was glad to see the negative reviews. She's condescending, aloof, and won't remember anything about you even after 5 visits. She'll ask the same questions every time and seems to loathe having to talk to patients. She only wants your money and will spend the bare minimum amount of time to get it. She's everything that is wrong with modern psychiatry.
Mean and hateful
very bad doctor. refuses to refill my medication because I don't have the time or money to travel an hour to go see her and of course there are no closer psychiatrists that are accepting new patients. you drive up there to sit 3 hours in a waiting room, you don't even spend a full 10 minutes in her office, and 5 minutes of it is her trying to remember who you are and why you're there.
