I have been a patient of Dr. Taghavy's since she took over Dr. McAllister's practice. She spent an hour with me during my first visit and had very keen questions and recommendations. She has provided excellent referrals to other local specialists, all of whom I have had good experiences with. Dr. Taghavy's concierge fee allows me 24/7 access and I have had to call her after hours and she was responsive. I cannot recommend Dr. Taghavy highly enough as a primary care physician.
Dr. Taghavy is wonderful. She’s very thorough and listens. She incredibly smart, knows many specialists personally, and is approachable. She has a clean, comfortable office and I’m so happy to her as my PCP.
Please be aware that this person charges you $1700 per year for the privilege of being her patient. This is a membership fee, not a medical one so insurance will not cover. You have to pay to sign up as a member in order to then be a patient.
If I could give more than five star I would .I know Dr. Taghavy for almost 14 years and every time I went to her I was satisfied and perfectly treated and couple time when I called her as an emergency when I got to pharmacy my prescription was already there .She is very calm and professional make you feel relax when you are there . I agree with Diane B’s review. I experienced much of the same including a lack of compassion (zero “bedside manner“) and little knowledge outside of general issues. Neither she nor her staff strive to establish mutual trust. She doesn’t want patients that have actual medical problems. She is no replacement for the phenomenal care provided for me by Dr. William McAllister for over 30 years. No wonder most of the previous staff quit once Dr. McAllister retired and she took over.
