Growing up the big outing for the family was going to the Oregon State Fair. My mom would always buy a new knife from Acock knives and those knives would last for years. When my mom died, I inherited a couple of her knives, my favorite being a little paring knife, and it lasted me for years and years and then I got lost, probably in a snowbank in Alaska. I got my original set for a wedding gift 66 years ago. The only knives worth buying. I have 87 pieces & continue to watch garage sales but seldom find them. My whole family request my husband to sharpen them at every function we have.
