A hidden gem, and we'll worth the drive. Free admission. The trail, while not challenging, is not for beginners or small children. Steep inclines and rocky slopes, but the view is amazing. Loved it.

A.Y. Jackson Lookout and Onaping High Falls It's about 35 minutes from Sudbury on Highway 144 East. There are three trails. For the more adventurous, you can climb down the rocky cascade and follow a somewhat challenging trail to get even closer to the falls. I wore Sketchers walking shoes, which weren’t ideal. Hiking boots would have been much better, especially since some rocks were slippery. Despite that, we chose this trail, and it was absolutely worth it.
