Dr. Egbers was really thoughtful, intelligent, and thorough in my first visit. It was honestly a breath of fresh air to speak to a doctor who took the time to ask the right questions and think outside the box of therapy. I had been lost to follow-up (putting it off, unsure if I wanted to talk to yet another doctor) and I almost cancelled this appointment as well and I'm really glad I didn't. It was probably one of the best mental health appointments I've had and I appreciate that immensely.
I am beyond grateful for finding Axis Integrated Mental Health. After months of calling, leaving messages & emailing providers, I was disappointed & discouraged when the few responses I received said they no longer accepted my insurance, had a long waiting list, no in person visits, etc. On a late night scroll through social media, I happened upon Axis. Axis integrated mental health is AMAZING. I see Dr. Jamie, and she is wonderful. Ever since our first meeting she made me feel comfortable. She listens to my needs, and provides amazing feedback. At first, I was nervous to see a psychiatrist, but that all went away after meeting with Jamie. She is extremely kind, beyond knowledgable and really cares to help me. I have been so lucky to have found such amazing care. I would recommend Dr. Jamie to anyone! She has truly helped me tremendously.
The results of my Spravato Treatments are nothing short of absolutely REMARKABLE! All of the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, kind and have made a huge impact on my life! Thank you for everything you do!
When I first met Dr Jamie Teunis, I was very wary of her. Over time as she and I continued to work on medication management and other things… she makes the time to listen and address concerns in regards to my mental health. I know others are lucky to have her in their corner cause I am! I highly recommend her!
