I am beyond grateful for finding Axis Integrated Mental Health. After months of calling, leaving messages & emailing providers, I was disappointed & discouraged when the few responses I received said they no longer accepted my insurance, had a long waiting list, no in person visits, etc. On a late night scroll through social media, I happened upon Axis. Jamie Tunis is very thorough, attentive, and easy to talk with. She has extensive experience and it shows with her approach to her patients. She’s great.
Dr. Thacker is warm and immediately puts you at ease. He's a good listener and offers great suggestions. He meets you where you are which is most appreciated. I ended up having to go off of my medication and he was supportive and understanding. I was very happy with Dr. Thacker and would not hesitate to work with him in the future.
Dr Hiatt is fabulous! She's always very present during our appointments, remembers even small details from previous visits, and is working with you instead of talking over you. And Emi is absolutely awesome, always responding quickly, and extremely patient (even when having to deal with stubborn pharmacists). Before Dr Gaumond had to step back she was also wonderful. I would definitely recommend them!
Dr. Bryce has been a tremendous help to my daughter. She experienced noticeable relief after her very first visit and is now looking forward to her ongoing treatment and future appointments. We are so grateful—thank you, Axis Mental Health!
