Zero stars. Excellent at harboring an environment of distrust. If you care about your loved ones, don't take them here. They traumatized me for life. They stole years of my life I can never get back. They also claimed it would be completely covered under a government program, but then sent me an insane amount of bills. They are literally incentivised to detain patients against their will. Kind, caring people who are deeply invested in helping their patients.
This facility deserves a MUCH higher rating than it currently has. The staff at the ATU are absolutely S-Tier human beings and top-notch professionals. These guys know their stuff, and are some of the kindest, most compassionate and understanding people I’ve had the privilege of meeting. This place was responsible for my sons suicide. I don't know how else to say it, the way they treated him, drugged him and transported him away from his home and community is appalling. He was medically disabled due to a surgery that the axis system made a referral for and had been harassing him for weeks prior. He was ADHD and was medicated for it by axis as well but was labeled a meth head when he was having a hard time. My son never recovered from the consequences of their action.
