This is a 5-star review… but if I could give AXIS CONTRACTING 10 stars, I absolutely would! In August 2025, my family experienced a severe storm with tornado-strength winds that brought down two trees and damaged our roof. If your home has been impacted by recent storms in BELVIDERE or ROCKFORD, STOP AND READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING with AXIS. We had $4,000.00 in paid work that AXIS never completed. After being rejected by State Farm on a previous hail storm, we were contacted by Axis asking if they could take a look and possibly help us with a recent larger hail storm. I agreed and was impressed by Matt Risley's understanding of the insurance adjustor process and overall assessment that he felt our roof should be replaced by State Farm.
