I felt absolutely rushed as a new patient. Usually doctors tend to spend a little extra time with you. He quickly looked at my MRI scans that were already uploaded on the computer in the room. He walked in. I would say if he was in the room for 5 minutes I would be amazed we're ready. You can go to the front desk now. I was there. Hoping to get trigger point injections, my lower back and my arm but that did not happen. Just rushed out because I didn't want to do any of the surgeries he mentions because I'm not ready yet. I have piroformis syndrome and osteoarthritis of the spine. Piroformis syndrome is VERY painful and debilitating; I’ve dealt with this condition for 40 years. This muscle contracts in tight spasms and clamps down on the sciatic nerve. It keeps my hip joint from opening and makes walking, sitting and standing very painful.
