Today we had two large spruce trees taken down. Axe and Wedge was the company we had come do the job. I was extremely pleased at their efficiency with which they worked. They were very respectful of our property, making sure not to damage any of our plants around the trees as best they could. This was a job I thought might take all day but they had taken 5 trees down by a little after lunch. The cleanup was exceptional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing trees removed. Very professional, on time, schedule and budget, good communication and clean up when the job was done.
The crew from Axe & Wedge showed up early to commence the, to us, huge job of removing a very large tree from property. To us this tree was in a very difficult position, approx. 12 feet from our house, with a busy intersection not 30 from the tree. Our tree in advanced stage of rot, towered at a height of approx. 60 feet or move over our house and the road. We can NOT say enough great things about Axe & Wedge Tree Works! Our 45 foot Colorado Blue Spruce was badly damaged from the ice storm at the end of March. After reading all the positive reviews about the company, I decided to give them a call. Kyle came out to give us a quote and then gave us 2 options on how the tree could be removed from our backyard.
