I used to go to a higher end salon which is not closeby, and wanted to give a try to this local salon. The setting is like 90s which I didn't mind, but the blow-dry was nothing compared to what I had in the past. Was a pleasant talk though, until I see the number on the pos - ended paying Yorkville price for this Oakridge local spot. New lesson learnt - "&up" could just mean double. had my haircut and hair color done by Andy and I’m very happy with the result! Andy is very professional and took the time to understand the look I wanted before giving helpful suggestions based on my hair condition. The haircut turned out beautiful and easy to manage, and the hair color was natural, even, and better than I expected. The whole experience was comfortable and done with great attention to detail. Highly recommend Andy if you’re looking for a skilled and professional hairstylist. I’ll definitely come back again!

This was my first time getting a haircut at a salon and I had a great experience at AX Hair Salon. My mom booked the appointment the day before, and I came in today, showed a reference photo, and asked for layers with side bangs. I have straight hair, and overall it was a smooth and positive experience. Andy was really nice, easy to talk to, and started the haircut right away. The whole process took about 45 minutes, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I would definitely recommend it.

I had a great experience with Zander. He was professional, friendly, and really took his time to make sure everything looked perfect. The haircut came out exactly how I wanted. The shop was clean and had a good atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Zander.
