Our first session with Mutinta Tembo was great! She listened well, and she was very empathetic with our daughter. We took a little time to schedule a follow up appointment, because our family deals with scheduling challenges, but when we tried to call to schedule, they became unresponsive. They also filled a medication without waiting for the proper lab work results. I did not feel comfortable giving our child medication without a doctor reviewing her labs. Do not recommend.
Dr. Mutinta Tembo is an extraordinary provider. She is very empathetic and compassionate and takes her time to really get to know her patients. Her expertise in treatment and medications is first rate. I trust her judgement completely.
I want to start by saying that the reviews are slightly coercive lol so after my original review, I came back to say more. She is very holistic and thorough (I stopped here at my first review). And she would be a wonderful provider if it wasn’t for her lack of answering the phone, being on time, and responding to insurance prior auths so patients CAN GET THEIR MEDICATIONS. She is absolutely amazing!! I’ve been seeing her for 6+ months now and I’ve never felt more heard, validated, and stabilized. I feel like a free person again and feel like I have taken control back of my mental and physical health. This doctor is heaven sent! I don’t do referrals very often, but when I feel like she is able to help someone else I steer them in her direction every time. Thank you Dr. Tembo for changing my life and helping me get my happiness back!
