Have only ordered takeout once, was not impressed for the amount paid.
We drove over two hours tonight from north of Winston Salem just to eat at Awaze and absolutely loved it. The food was the most flavorful Ethiopian I think I have ever had. The injira was perfect and the seasonings for every dish exploded in your mouth. The baclava was unlike any I’ve had before with a sort of floral essence, so delicious we ordered more. Great food, wonderful service - will definitely eat here again. We shared two combo platters so we could get a taste of everything - highly recommend!
