My time at The Away Spa in Philly was subpar to say the least. Granted, I did come a bit late. But that doesn't excuse the fact that I didn't get everything I was suppose to get in my birthday spa package. I was suppose to get the hot stones & didn't get them. Also, the spa offers razors & shower caps in the changing rooms. I took some. The messed up teeth lady at the reception desk took the items out of my personal bag. I would like to formally raise a concern about my recent visit. Prior to my appointment, I called and spoke directly with the manager to inform her that I was running late due to traffic from Washington, D.C. She assured me that she would accommodate me with valet parking. However, upon my arrival, the valet attendant informed me that no such arrangement had been communicated. We partnered with AWAY Spa for a company event. Luna & her staff were fantastic to work with: very professional, adaptable & provided a high-level of service. Everyone walked away with positive remarks. I would highly recommend AWAY Spa!
The Spa was very relaxing and made me feel special as the experience was everything you wanted.
I went to the Away spa at the W to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful experience! From the start, everyone was really thoughtful and attentive. As a plus size woman, they had larger robes that actually fit (actually with a lot of room to spare) and it’s that attention to detail that is often overlooked but so important; it really made me feel comfortable and taken care of.
