I only recommend coming during a braiding sale or special pricing. I have been here 3 times. Do not expect a quick braiding service. Do not waste your time with an appointment because they will see anyone who walks in to the point that you will only have one person working on your hair for most of the service. Only Awa collects money and it’s not in a professional manner. Do NOT get BOHO braids unless you are okay with the hair shedding a tremendous amount. Rude, impatient and lack of care for people asking for something simple. If you want someone in and out of the store then say it out loud, don't ruin their hair in the process.
Charged $70 for the most careless dutch braids I have ever received. I've been charged half this price for better work. Only took 15 minutes to do my hair and it shows the carelessness. As soon as I walked into the salon everyone stopped talking and just stared at me. I never felt so alienated in my life.
A+. Both of daughters were in for knotless medium braids. This was my 13 yr old’s 1st time getting her hair done by someone other than me. There was a variety of ages in the chairs, even little ones. Back to school! Total time was about 3.5hrs. Awa is very welcoming. The ladies although quiet were nice, gentle & efficient. Competitive pricing. And most important…my girls love their hair!
