I went to the Irving Street branch of Awakened Mind for a free meditation session. It wasn't my favorite style of meditation (e.g., it was accompanied by music), but it was free, friendly, flexible, and there was absolutely no pushing of anything (e.g., people, products, donations, religion, sectarianism, etc.), just encouragement to do meditation at home, which I appreciated.
