Enjoyable meal We ate here on a weeknight in January so it was not so crowded as I am sure it can get. Our waitress was overworked but managed to keep us from feeling neglected. We enjoyed our shrimp cocktail and the stuffed shrimp. The strawberry shortcake was a real winner. The location is perfect. I would eat here again when I visit.
Good food at a Great Location I was pleasantly suprised with this restaurant as I have read mixed reviews on it. We were served in a timely manner and while the waitress was inexperienced, she did a good job and was very friendly. I like the open layout of the restaurant and the food was really good. I enjoyed their French Fries and the salad was nice and fresh and packed full of veggies; not just lettuce. good food, pleasant, open atmosphere We enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The food was quite good, reasonably priced and served in a timely manner. AW Shucks - not good seafood I will have to rank AW shucks as on of the worst for lowcounty seafood. The service is always slow and lazy. The food is so so. Also it is not worth the money for lunch. If you looking for great lowcountry seafood don't eat here. You will be disappointed. I have given them several tries and each time I was let down.
