We are the unfortunate neighbors of a person who chose this company to build their home, the contractors hired by this company do not respect property borders, the heavy equipment operators have destroyed trees and shrubs on our property, destroyed no trespassing signs we put up in response, and willfully trespassed on our property when they did not think we were home to make use of our fire pit and seating areas. Numerous calls to the builder have done little to change the situation. Zero stars, do not recommend.
RecommendedSince the first day my wife and I walked into the Palm Bay model home, we've been treated above and beyond our expectations. Can't leave out the local division office staff for all their hard work as well. The whole AVTEC team has been very accommodating. We were able to design a home for our family at an unbeatable cost compared to other local builders! We are excited to see the end result when it's completed. Thank you again AVTEC Homes of Palm Bay!
My boyfriend & I bought a house with avtec in February of 2020. From the moment we signed our contract we were updated WEEKLY on what was going on whether it be permit wise or even just simply sod getting laid. We haven’t had any issues in these first 6 months, everything has worked perfectly from the beginning. The smart home features are personally my favorite part especially the eco friendly thermostat, who doesn’t love a cheaper electric bill?!! My husband and I purchased our home in July of 2020. From start to finish Avtec Homes was amazing. Anytime either my husband or I had a question someone was right there to help. Garrett our construction manager was always avilable to answer any and all questions that were asked. He made sure to inform us of anything that We needed to know. Súper horrible Customer service After Building yr home. My parents closed their home in Dec. We noticed their count tops stained with water. My dad called multiple times just to be blown off many times then after 2 or 3 months later they finally send someone to check the counter. He put some type of liquid on the counters. He said if the counter keeps getting stained to give him a call. My dad called numerous times with no answer. My dad goes in the office where this man acts like he didn’t know what was going on. We had the long term goal of owning a brand new home,but time was not on our side untill 2020! Avtec was always our Top pick in our city! We are enjoying our new home. Brittany was great and she guided us to where we needed to be. But after the file left her office communication with others was a little challenging with the other depts, but with a Real Estate agent like Ashley Johnson that we had everything was fine and was closed on time as we did a double closing. I love this model, it’s super spacious and cozy and grateful nothing to fix or correct.
Avtec homes are the worst homes ever build ! There quality of materials and workmanship is horrible my house is falling apart and my air conditioner doesn’t work and they won’t fix it and they say take us to arbitration we’re you won’t win because the arbitrators are on the builders side and when you sign your contract that is part of the agreement... There all nice to you until you sign your contract and get your money.... then they say if you don’t like your house too bad.....Buyer beware DO NOT Buy an Avtec Home!!!!!!!!
