Had to have our dog put down, Dr, and staff are very compassionate and friendly but Professional and direct, which is what I needed. I would definitely recommend them and we will use them for all our animals going forward
No No No do not take your pet here. I went in for a rabies booster. The list of unprofessional behavior is too long and depressing to list out for this review. They are rude, expensive, and appear to not care at all about the welfare of the animal or the owner.
Avra Vet Clinic is fantastic. They've been kind, prompt and professional with my dog and cats care. They are straight about their prices and provide helpful feedback. I would recommend them to anyone.
In 37 years, this is the first time I've been charged with a service not performed and prescribed medication for something the vet found no evidence of. 2 cats were brought in (10/14/25) that were scratching around the neck/ears and shaking their heads. Ear swabs were done on one cat, and the cytology ear showed no fleas/mites. Dr Chintis then made 3 quick swipes with a flea comb, found no fleas/mites but still prescribes an expensive 1 dose ea medication ($106) for fleas/mites telling me that doesn't mean there weren't any.... read more
Brought our dog here for a chronic issue that he has been seen for multiple times. Spent tons of money and lots of time to continue to be frustrated and have our dog still be suffering. Was ultimately told it was probably cancer and he would need a biopsy to confirm and to consider his quality of life. Came here for a second opinion and the vet and staff were super helpful and nice.
