Worst experience with this company. I don’t recommend them at all. Arrive with only 1 person at the front desk. Make sure you review the cars/van before you drive off. The car has so many dings and scratches and you could be asked to pay for it if you did not check it when you return it. Rent directly from Enterprise, Avis or other bigger companies. First ~ I prepaid (in full) for my rental. When I went to pick it up ~ they charged my credit card for another $212....... as a “deposit “. I noted on the check out form all of the scratches, dents, and glass chips ~ as well as the most notable smell of marijuana. I will not do business with your company again. You still owe me money. The van reaked of marijuana before I even got in the vehicle ~ I reported this on the appropriate form and you still charged me $ and then didn’t return the full amount without explanation.

Given a van with zero gas just before midnight, rude staff that did not care about customer service, and a van that was mediocre to begin with.

This was the worst rental car experience I've ever had in my entire life. There was no customer but the two workers were busy with something and then talking about their vacation plans. We had to wait 35 minutes before we were helped. Then, they used scare tactic to have us buy their insurance, while my car insurance was going to cover my rental anyways. There were a lot of hidden charges that didn't make sense to me. After arguing for a while I finally had some of the fee refunded but was still overcharged for the car based on the emailed receipt I got. When I dropped off the van there was a guy that was arguing with the front desk, having the same issue with extra fees as me (like $19 a day additional kind of added fees, adds up fast!). There was also nowhere to plus in a phone (not even a cigarette lighter) which after a day of traveling we really needed.

We were a bit skeptical when told to wait for a pickup at SFO car rental place. But the clearly marked spotlessly clean van came and the professional, clean and, smiling service representative with a very pleasent discourse stepped out to greet us, we were relieved. All throughout the process, we were very pleased from check out to check in snd the ride back to the airport terminal. Looking forward with pleasure to go back and use the next time.

The whole AVVR rental was excellent. from the web site, to the Van we rented, and the price was right! Also the AVR Customer service was Excellent! We will use AVR again when in need of a Van.
