RecommendedI love the staff here, they have always been so kind, especially when we lost our dog, they really do care.
We have been taking our animals to Dr Jim ever since we moved to Haslet in 2010 we've even used the clinic to keep our dogs when we would be gone for vacation...Dr Jim is very caring for the animals he treats as well as the staff there. Hes also one of the few people that my German Shepherd has no issues with that she doesnt see on a daily basis. I highly recommend Avondale Haslet Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a vet.
We just moved here from CA and needed a new vet. I took my dogs in for shots and flea treatment. My older dog was having leg pain and they took great care of us. On Friday night my older girl hurt her other leg 😢 I called Saturday morning and they were booked but Deanna worked us in! I am so grateful to the staff for taking such great care of us! Highly recommend this caring, thorough vet.
Dr. Jim Jordan and staff are the BEST anywhere! They genuinely care for each and every animal! Dr. Jim and Dr Sheila have cared for our animals for over 15 years! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!

We to the vet early today and thought Harley was having breathing problems. Rush him over. They checked him out not a breathing problem, but maybe he banged his tooth hard while eating. They gave him a shot and pills. We get home and he hides for 4 hours. So 7:45 he is gagging pawing at his mouth so I drag him down off his cat tree look in his mouth and see blood and have my kid hold him down so I can check better. So happy with this vet! Recently our vet moved away and I was so nervous to try someone new since my dog is very nervous at the vet, and he is a pit bull. This was our 2nd visit and I am thrilled! The staff are so friendly and never intimidated by his breed. He is known as pretty boy! As for Dr. B, WOW! No one has ever made my boy feel so comfortable! Dr. Jim is the BEST vet in the area. He is caring and always goes the extra mile with my pets. He’s even called me after hours just to make sure my fur baby is doing well after a procedure/visit. The staff here is amazing and treats us like family. We won’t go anywhere else.
Dr. Jim and his staff are always so caring and gentle with my small dogs. My older dog, Junior had a heart condition for some time that Dr. Jim treated. It began to get worse and caused him to have issues breathing. We made the very hard decision to let him be at peace. Dr. Jim was so gracious and came to our home due to the fact that Junior always got so upset when going to the vet and we just didn’t want to put him through any more stress than we had to.
