Do not waste yout time inquiring about an apartment with Avondale. The property manager Tony is extremely rude and racist, and the property owners Pacific Capital Management refuse to address the issue. Every day brought a new problem with him, and it felt like he was constantly looking for reasons to evict us even with rent paid every month. I have lived at the Avondale Apartments for over 5 years and I have been very happy. The manager is great and ensures our community is safe, fun, family-oriented, and clean.
don't move here if you want to be scared for your life. Gun shots almost every month. Crazy people with cars busting donuts in the middle of our street and just plan out people that don't even live here can walk into this apartment since the gated door is busted with no lock. they want to charge over $2000 to love here also. Crazy. Just goes to show what, and who's important here. Not the people who pay rent on time. This place is becoming a nightmare to live. UPDATE: My wife and I just read an email from Tony who said he never saw us yesterday and then left for lunch at 2pm. My wife and I knocked on the leasing office door first at 1:45pm to see if they'd take us early but the door was locked. We knocked again on the leasing office door much louder at 2:05pm with still no answer. We waited until 2:20pm and saw no one leave the only entrance to the leasing office building the entire time.
