PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT- residents are getting sick in the building. Don't move here. The building is infested with rodents to include mice and rats. A resident tested positive for the hantavirus, also mold in places of the building. Code enforcement has been called out multiple occasions, disregard any good review here, I'm trying to help you, don't move here! I would rate 0 stars. But Google makes you rate at least 1 star, in order to post
I walked in and was acknowledged right away by Barbara! She gave an outstanding tour and made me feel so welcomed. She introduced me to the staff and even some residents passed by and said hello. Her customer service is top tier and I would recommend anyone looking for a nice , clean and welcoming place to live in Laurel , MD to check the Avondale out and ask for Barbara!

I can’t say enough great things about crystal! She has been so kind and patient with me, always taking the time to answer my questions and explain things thoroughly. Building is infested with mice. Also roaches, but the mice are out of control-and I live on the 10th floor! Pest Control is the worst I have ever seen. Have lived here for several years. Pest control used to give out glue traps but past few years will not give out and have to buy your own. Rats have migrated up from Laurel Towne Center and swarm the trash area outside at night.
