I am a current resident @ The Avondale. Please take heed to this review. This building is infested with mice and bugs. This property is also listed as a smoke-free building. However, the smell of smoke is in my building every day. I have spoken to management about these issues numerous times, and yet, these issues have yet to be resolved. Esthetically, when you first walk into the building, the first impression is, the building looks nice. But please, don't let that fool you.
9/15/24/ I have lived at the Avondale since October 1, 1991. We have had some big, unpleasant things happen here since I moved in, but management dealt with them, and we got on with our lives. (We have had two serious floods since I have been living here. Basically my 33 years of living here have been happy and comfortable. All is well. Crystal is the best. Maintenance, however, could be better
The Avondale Apartments is in a great location & offer great views from your apartment. Everyone in the front office is pleasant. Crystal is a great assistant property manager, and has such a pleasant demeanor. However the upkeep of the building has went down. Some Tenants are allowing their dogs to relieve themselves on the elevator and in the hallways.
