Everyone was very thorough explaining what was being done. Also, records from my retina consultant were explained.
As a new patient, I actually had an amazing annual office visit with Avon Vision Associates. The Doctor was incredibly attentive, informative and professional. I walked away feeling great about having become a patient there and with an RX to treat a minor eye issue. With our new insurance through Hartford Healthcare (Eye Med), this provider was listed as a "plus provider." My wife and I were forced to switch providers due to this insurance change. During our evaluation, a number of tests were performed unnecessarily, just because issues such as itchy eyes or taking a statin were identified on the history form.
