I was blown away by the level of care and precision in every single dish. The flavors were layered and sophisticated, yet completely approachable. The waitstaff demonstrated extensive menu knowledge, helping us navigate allergy concerns effortlessly. We will return soon.
I came into Avize with very high expectations and genuinely wanted to love it. We visited this establishment over a week ago as it was recommended, and I was excited. Overall, we enjoyed the food, and we had great service from the wait staff. I enjoyed the Alpine theme and the farm to table concept. However, there were a few moments that dampened the experience. We received undercooked fish that was cold at center. I am no stranger to art nouvelle cuisine or fine dining. I've been a patron at almost all of Atlanta's upscale dining establishments. Avize was a disappointment. The night started with a 6:45 reservation on a Saturday. The dining room was maybe half full, which started to ring alarm bells already.
