Dr Geetha prescribed me accutane when I was 15, I took it daily for 13 months and saw her twice in that time frame. Dr Geetha Sivapirabu is very knowledgeable, and extremely generous with her time. As a new patient (my dermatologist recently retired), I could not get an appointment anywhere. I was concerned about a possible Melanoma (I've had one previously). I e-mailed Aviva and explained my situation. Dr Geetha is very professional and has a lovely manner with patients. After many years going to other Dermatologists I find her very gentle in comparison when having anything attended to (and I’ve had various areas needing attention) Dr Geetha has a caring and practical approach with her recommendations and I feel I’m in safe hands. Dr Geetha’s nurse and front desk staff are lovely and helpful when making appointments or needing information. The clinic is pristine in its cleanliness, modern and well located with parking .
Very disappointed I had an appointment 4 months ago that I waited about 4 months for. I have a cyst on my face, so I wanted it cut out. The dr said to avoid scarring, I should get a cortisone injection and take accutane. My appointment was really rushed, and I trusted the dr so I said yes without researching these drugs. My bad. Well accutane is something that can cause literal bleeding from the bumhole, it dries your skin and makes you extremely sensitive to the sun.
